I know an old dame
Mother Nature’s her name.
She rattles my door when she sneezes.

She scatters the leaves
As she runs through the trees,
Chasing her children, the breezes.

She loves sunny days
With blustery haze.
She makes any weather she pleases.

Though rain mixed with ice
She thinks rather nice
Especially lightning that freezes.

Mother Nature sweeps at her door. Mother Nature blinks. Floating leaf. Floating leaf.
